Twenty Dollar Thursday

So, every day this week, the weather has been absolutely unreal. I live in Florida where we have one season---Summer. So, when I feel a breeze of any type outside....I pretty much lose...my...marbles.

And this week the weather has been perfect!! I'm talking sunny skies, breezy winds,and even a cool temperature. The weather I wasn't sure even existed anymore does...in fact...exist. So I antied up my vacation time and did what any professional should do from time to time....I requested a mental health day from work :)

I really wanted a day to enjoy the beautiful weather, get school work done, and do some chores around the house! I'm so happy to say that the former did not get forgotten in the midst of all the have-to's today.

We are preparing to have company in town and, like any good absent-minded wife, I forgot to buy several of the groceries I intended to earlier this week. So I slipped into my local grocer and purchased a few things. I wanted to share, with you my readers, the deal's that I was able to find should you be looking for anything this week.

First of all, Suave hair products are on sale 2/$4.00 at Winn Dixie. The cool thing about this, for those of you who also coupon the Sunday paper, is that a coupon recently appeared which featured a deal like this one pictured below. So, essentially, I paid $4.00 flat and got a shampoo, a conditioner, and a serum. Now, what is cool to note about this purchase is that the serum itself was originally retailing for $3.68. Sooo I pretty much just got all of those things for what I would've paid for the styling product alone. Pretty sneaky sis.

Also on sale today, Dixie Sugar products. Now, I know for those of you who, like myself, are getting into baking, sugar is absolutely QUINTESSENTIAL!! Also important to realize for novice bakers..omitting the sugar usually=ugh. With Fall right around the corner, we can pretty much count on pies, cakes, muffins, and breads which will all call for sugar. Specifically, Fall season yields me an unusually high need for brown sugar. Well, I'm about to make your day bakers. Winn Dixie is on sale for...you ready for this...0.99 cents. OH! And did I mention that if you coupon the paper you probably also have a coup somewhere for .55cents off? Yep...you do. You're welcome! Go enjoy your .44 cent brown sugar today :)
