Why helloooo everybody!!!! So I have to write a blog, this very afternoon because....

I finally hit my SHOPPING GOAL!!!!

Ever since I have started this couponing business, I have set one clear goal in mind. That goal, simply stated, is this: get below a $50.00 total for a week's worth of groceries that will actually LAST you the entire week.

Now, I know TLC extreme couponer society would hear that meager goal an be all:



However, for someone like me who lives a crazy-hectic lifestyle and the better part of that 24 hour day, it aint so easy peezy. So I gave myself this challenge, months, ago, in the hopes that one day it would actually transpire.

And today, my friends, it FINALLY DID!!!!

Now, with this being said, I will say that I cheated a bit because I already had lots of dinner meat stocked up in the freezer from weeks prior. However, I did have to get lots of random stuff that I wouldn't normally purchase due to random occasions (i.e. grandma's birthday--card very necessary) and also I found the much-beloved and previously discussed BOOK CART!!!. So yah...between those two things I spent right there what I would have normally in dinner entree meat.

So, I went to TOWN. I won't bore you with the entirety of the list of groceries that I purchased, but here is a small sampling along with the deals I found accordingly.

1)1 PND Fresh Raspberries (NO DISCOUNT AND P.S. UNLESS YOU HAVE FIVE FRIGGIN DOLLARS AND A MINIMAL APPETITE DON'T EVEN BOTHER.
2)2 PNDS LUNCH MEAT (BUY ONE/GET ONE)
3)ALUMINUM FOIL (ANOTHER AWESOME CLEAR VALUE BUY)
4)HONEY (WHO KNEW CLEAR VALUE CATERED TO SUCH ECCLECTIC PURCHASES?)

5)PAPER TOWELS (OK..OK...CLEAR VALUE WE HAVE TO STOP MEETING LIKE THIS)

I really think there was lots more stuff in that purchase but I can't remember it all. Luckily, the store I have been shopping has recently been incorporating these coupons that look like this:

Essentially, the ensure $5.00 off of every purchase of $50.00 or more. So, with my MF coupons, the clear value purchases, my generic buys, and the book cart deal, I walked out the door for 49.53. I mean EXCITEMENT!!!!!
